If you want to start with what you're best at in SaaS or indie development, begin with a wrapper.

Ship something quickly, and you'll quickly realize what you're lacking — marketing.

Here's the practical stuff to get your first project off the ground:

Core Advice

Ship something "ugly" first. Don't chase perfection — get it live, get it moving.

Templates only solve 10% of the problem. The real bottlenecks are:

  • Stripe payments (not supported in many countries)
  • SEO cold start

Before you build a wrapper, verify that your target market has a working payment channel. Otherwise, no matter how beautiful your landing page looks, you won't collect a dime.

The biggest challenge with wrappers isn't technical — it's pricing. The real moat for indie developers isn't speed; it's finding the niche use cases that big companies can't be bothered to build for.
