Tencent Yuanbao's Marketing Tactics Are Infuriating

Tencent Yuanbao's marketing is disgusting.

Anyone who sends it in a group chat gets removed. Anyone who sends it directly to me gets blocked.

This is a textbook example of what not to do. Indiscriminate mass messaging and pushy promotional tactics don't drive user growth — they breed resentment. Good marketing makes users want to come to you. It doesn't shove information in people's faces.
